A Three Year Building Campaign
Built for Worship
For 72 years, Camp Christian has been a place of ministry for its affiliated church communities and many others throughout Colorado. By God's faithfulness, He has provided resources, funding, and protection for our beautiful facility on East Elk Creek. No capital improvements have been made on the property in some time and it is now apparent that in order to protect the investment of previous generations and to be good stewards of our facilities, we need to restore the manager cabin and install a retaining wall behind the dining hall. Lord willing, our plan is to raise funds for these projects in 2025, restore the manager cabin in 2026, build the retaining wall in 2027, and add a couple of small cabins in 2028.

Manager Cabin
Over 90 years old, this cabin has been a central part of camp life, having served as the kitchen, boy’s dorm, snack shack, and most recently, the manager's cabin. Years ago the fireplace was removed, leaving a large hole in the rear wall that needs to be properly restored. Also a new foundation is needed to keep bottom timbers off the ground.

Dining Hall
Built in 1956, this building is located near a steep dirt embankment. Over the years, the hill has shifted toward the dining hall, causing a build-up of dirt around the back wall. To address this, we need to remove a significant amount of dirt and build a retaining wall to protect the building.
